Candy Fans, next week is a big one.
Starting June 1, Candy will begin rolling out the next phase of our platform relaunch, including a refreshed Candy.io experience, new collection visibility, migration progress updates, and the foundation for what comes next as Candy collectibles move to Solana.
We know the community has been waiting for clear answers on what happens next, when things go live, and what fans will actually see when they log in. This post is meant to give you a straightforward look at what to expect over the next week or so.
Let’s get into it.
A refreshed Candy.io goes live June 1
On June 1, fans will see an updated Candy.io experience.
This will include a refreshed landing page and a more direct path into the information fans need most right now. The goal is not just to make the site look better. It is to make Candy easier to use, easier to understand, and easier to follow as migration begins moving from promise to reality.
The first version of the updated site will focus on the essentials: account access, collection visibility, migration status, wallet information, and clear next steps for fans.
More product features will follow, but June 1 is the beginning of the next chapter.
You’ll be able to see your collection in a new way
One of the most important updates coming next week is collection visibility.
When fans log in, they will be able to see their Candy collection and migration status directly through the updated Candy.io experience. For assets that have completed migration, fans will be able to see their migrated collectibles with their corresponding Solana information.
For assets that are still being processed, fans will see that migration is in progress. That distinction matters. Migration is not one giant switch that flips for every asset at the exact same second. It is a process. The site will help make that process visible so fans know where their collectibles stand.
If your assets have not completed minting yet, you should still be able to see your collection reflected while migration continues.
The current target is for migration to be completed by June 8. If you still do not see your collection by that date, please contact [email protected] so we can review your account.
Solana links and on-chain visibility are coming
As migrated assets are completed, fans will begin seeing Solana-related information tied to their collectibles.
That means the updated collection experience will include public-facing wallet information and links that allow fans to view their migrated assets on-chain. This is a major step toward giving fans more transparency and more control over the collectibles they own.
Candy has talked about moving collectibles to Solana. Starting June 1, fans will begin to see that transition reflected more directly inside the product.
Your assets will also be supported by world-class storage
As part of this migration process, Candy collectibles are being connected to Arweave, a durable storage network designed to support digital assets over the long term.
For fans, the simple version is this: Candy is working to make sure your migrated collectibles are not just visible inside Candy.io, but are also supported by reliable, long-term storage as part of their move into the Solana ecosystem.
This is a meaningful part of the migration work, and Candy is covering this step for active fans. It helps create a stronger foundation for ownership, visibility, and future utility without adding extra action for eligible collectors.
Secondary market trading is expected to follow after migration is complete
The first week of June will be focused on migration, wallet setup, and making sure the experience works the right way.
Secondary market trading is not expected to be available until June 8.
The current expectation is that secondary market access will follow once migration is complete and the supporting wallet and marketplace mechanics are ready.
That extra time is intentional. It allows the team to complete the migration process, confirm wallet readiness, and make sure fans are not dropped into a half-finished experience.
Pack opening will happen on Candy.io
If you have packs in your collection, you will begin seeing pack-related status inside Candy.io.
Pack opening will not happen on secondary marketplaces. It will happen through Candy.io.
This is important for fans to know upfront. If you see a pack somewhere else and it cannot be opened there, that does not mean it is broken. The pack opening experience is designed to run through Candy’s site.
After our transition to the Solana ecosystem is complete, we will re-enable pack opening on Candy.io. Our current target is around June 8, but timing may depend on how long it takes to complete the minting process across the full collection.
Legacy balances and credits are being addressed
Candy is also working through legacy account balances.Fans with legacy balances should expect more information on available options, including the ability to convert eligible balances into Candy credits and, where applicable, request a withdrawal.
More details will be included in the updated FAQ and support materials as those policies are finalized.
The main takeaway is that legacy balances are not being ignored. They are part of the relaunch work, and Candy intends to give fans a clear path forward.
New product features are next on the roadmap
Once the migration and self-custody work is in a stronger place, the team will shift more focus toward new product features.
That includes future sales, new packs, pack openings, auction formats, and other collecting experiences that can help bring more energy back to the Candy platform.
- June 1 is about getting the foundation right. What comes after is about building on top of it.
- June 8 is the current target for secondary market functionality.
- The first primary market sale is expected to follow in the second or third week of June, with an official date to be announced.
And yes, there is plenty more coming.
What fans should do next
Starting June 1, fans should log in to Candy.io and check their collection.
As part of this updated experience, fans will also be required to set up two-factor authentication. This extra security step helps keep account information protected and will be required for Candy accounts moving forward.
Fans will also be asked to review and accept Candy’s updated Terms of Use and Privacy Agreement when accessing the platform.
From there, you will be able to see what has migrated, what is still in progress, and what next steps may be available to you. If something is still processing, that is expected. Migration will continue through the week as the team works toward completing the initial transition.
We will continue sharing updates as new features go live and as more functionality becomes available.
Candy is back in motion.
June 1 is where the next phase begins.
