Quests, Simplified: The New Candy Quest Experience Is Live

Following your progress toward your next Candy reward just got a whole lot easier.

The new Candy Quest experience is now live at candy.io/quests, bringing MLB and Comic Collection Quests directly into Candy with a dedicated interface built to make participating, tracking progress and understanding Quest requirements easier.

Whether you’re completing an MLB collection, chasing Rainbows or working your way through the latest Comic Collection Quest, you can now see exactly what you need, and how close you are to completing it, all in one place.

Find Active Quests in One Place

Active Quests can now be found directly within the new Quest experience on Candy.

From there, collectors can open an individual Quest to see its requirements, eligible collectibles, reward and their progress toward completion. The new public view lays out the full logic of each Quest, while logged-in collectors will also be able to see their personal progress.

No spreadsheets. No trying to remember which collectibles count. No bouncing back and forth between announcement posts just to figure out what you still need.

The Quest page does the work for you.

See Your Progress as You Collect

One of the biggest additions to the new experience is visual Quest progress.

When you’re logged in and participating in a Quest, the interface can show the collectibles you’ve already contributed toward the Quest alongside a progress bar showing how close you are to completing it. Individual requirement sections will also fill in as their conditions are satisfied.

For example, if a Quest asks you to complete two of three requirements, you’ll be able to see which portions you’ve already completed and which still need your attention.

For Quests with multiple eligible collectibles, the interface can also organize those options together and surface the items relevant to your collection.

Know Exactly What Counts

Quest requirements can vary considerably.

Some might require collectibles from several different sets. Others might ask you to own one eligible collectible from a larger group of options. MLB Quests may involve things like complete collections or Rainbows, while Comic Collection Quests can span eligible issues and series.

The new UI is built to spell that logic out directly on the Quest page, so you can understand exactly what qualifies before deciding what you need next.

Even better, eligible collectibles within a Quest are interactive.

Selecting an item can take you into the Candy product catalog, where you can learn more about the collectible and continue into available marketplace actions.

Don’t Forget to Opt In

Collectors will still need to opt in to participate in applicable Quests and qualify for rewards.

Each Quest page will include an opt-in option as part of the experience, helping make that required step easier to find before you start completing the Quest.

Coming Next: Dedicated MLB and Comic Quest Tabs

This is just the beginning of the new Quest experience.

As the number of active Quests continues to grow, we’ll also be introducing dedicated tabs for MLB Quests and Comic Collection Quests.

That will give collectors an even easier way to filter the Quest experience and jump directly into the collections they care about.

For now, both MLB and Comic Collection Quests can be found through the new Quest UI.
