Built to Win: The 2026 MLB Gold Series Closes with Award Winners

Candy’s 2026 MLB Gold Series wraps up Thursday, October 8, at 5 p.m. ET with Award Winners: a six-player lineup of MVPs, Rookies of the Year and perennial All-Stars who have spent their careers collecting trophies:

Six Players. One Trophy Case.

Some players have great seasons. These six have the hardware to prove it, season after season. Between them: seven MVP awards, five Rookie of the Year awards and 37 All-Star selections.

Aaron Judge is a three-time AL MVP, including back-to-back wins in 2024 and 2025, and still owns the American League single-season home run record.

Bryce Harper won his first MVP at 22 and his second in Philadelphia, and made his ninth All-Star team this summer in his home ballpark.

Yordan Álvarez is the favorite to win 2026 AL MVP, and he already brings a Rookie of the Year, an ALCS MVP, a World Series ring and the most feared left-handed bat in the American League.

Mookie Betts is the only player ever to win the MVP, Silver Slugger, Gold Glove, batting title and World Series in the same season, and he has four rings to show for his career.

Julio Rodríguez opened his career with a Rookie of the Year, two Silver Sluggers and the first 25-homer, 25-steal debut season in MLB history.

Ronald Acuña Jr. rounds out the lineup as a unanimous MVP and the only player ever to put together a 40-homer, 70-steal season.

Each player has only 36 Gold Series ICONs across three tiers: 25 Rares, 10 Epics and one Legendary. Somewhere inside the release is the one and only Legendary ICON for each Award Winners player.

Limited-Edition Inserts

The chase doesn’t stop with the six-player lineup. Award Winners packs may also contain one of two special inserts, each numbered to just /5.

Ronald Acuña Jr. Momenticon featuring his 200th career home run, a three-run shot on September 2, 2026 at Nationals Park that made him the fastest player in MLB history to reach 200 homers and 200 stolen bases. He did it in his 904th game, 25 games faster than the previous record.

Aaron Judge Pixicon featuring Judge heading out to the field in the Yankees’ road grays on the front and, on the back, the slugging captain tipping his cap to the Yankee Stadium crowd in the iconic pinstripes.

Any pack containing an insert will include seven ICONs instead of six, with the insert added as a bonus ICON.

Finish the Gold Series Collection Quests

With Award Winners, all 36 Gold Series players are officially out. Every Award Winners ICON counts toward the 2026 Gold Series Collection Quests, which span the six Gold Series themes: Power, Next Gen, Rookies, Aces, 5 Tool and Award Winners.

Complete the Full Set Collection Quest to earn a Munetaka Murakami Reward ICON and $500 in Candy Credits, or build across all six themes for the Partial Set Collection Quest and a Kevin McGonigle Reward ICON.
