Quest 4: House of El — The Hardest Quest of the Season

Everyone knows the S. Almost nobody owns the first one.

Quest 4 opens Friday, September 25 at 2 PM ET, and it is the hardest quest of the season. The House of El list runs from the first Superman in 1939 to the books on stands this summer, and the requirement has teeth: every entry is a specific issue. No "any issue" lanes this time. The collectors who finish this one will have built a real Superman shelf to do it.

The Quest

Own any 4 of the 12 entries below, and at least one of your four must come from the Fortress (marked with a ⭑). Hold all four in your linked wallet at the quest snapshot.

The Fortress holds the keys: the first Superman, the modern grails, the books that anchor a Superman shelf. One of them, plus any three from the rest of the list, builds the set.

The list is a menu, not a checklist: you choose which four. Every entry is a specific issue. Duplicates count as one entry. Longbox credit counts toward the open slots only; your Fortress entry has to be in your wallet.

The Longbox: The Fortress Archive

The Longbox is back, and this week it's all Superman.

List any 3 qualifying Longbox items on OpenSea during the quest window, and it counts as one of your four entries. One Longbox credit per quest, and it fills an open slot, not the Fortress.

Here's the thing about the Superman shelf: some of the most held Superman books on Candy have almost never been listed. Thousands of collectors have them. Almost nobody can buy them. This week, putting them on the market counts as progress.
