Leadoff Series, Lineup 4 drops this Tuesday, May 24 at noon ET! Early access for those who qualify is, as always, at 10am ET.

We’re over halfway through Candy’s first edition of Leadoff packs, so stay in the loop to learn more about what you can do with the ICONs as our collection challenges start to roll out.

• 100 players will have a Legendary
• 141 players will have an Epic
• 179 players will have a Rare
• 630 players will have an Uncommon and a Core

There are five ICONs, with a chance at five different rarities, in each pack, and the 630 included players are divided up randomly throughout Lineups. On top of the five ICONs, you have a chance to score an ultra-rare Candy World Series NFT. There are only eight total, and they’re divided up randomly in the Lineups! The utility of these eight NFTs will be revealed at a later date.

Players Included

Top Players in Lineup 4:

• Ronald Acuña Jr. - Despite missing the second half of the 2021 season and the Braves’ World Series run, Ronald Acuña Jr. is still a star player and one of the best bats in the league. The 2018 Rookie of the Year is going on his fifth season in Atlanta. He is day to day at this point, but is expected to set foot on the field in 2022. Acuña currently has 105 home runs and 246 RBIs to his credit, earning him 2019 and 2020 Silver Slugger Awards.
• Rafael Devers - Rafael Devers is about to enter his sixth season as a third baseman in the MLB. In 2021, Devers had 47 extra-base hits, ranking fifth in doubles and 20th in triples. That performance earned him his first Silver Slugger. Adding that to his career total of 367 RBIs and 112 home runs puts him in the conversation as one of the best hitters in baseball.
• Tim Anderson - From Alabama to the Southside of Chicago, Anderson made the leap when he was drafted 17th overall in 2013. According to JustBaseball.com, he was the 4th best shortstop in the league going into the 2022 season. He was suspended for a hot sec this season but is back on the field. He had a career highlight last season in the Field of Dreams game with a walk-off home run for the White Sox, and is here this season helping to bring the Sox to first place in the AL Central.
• Teoscar Hernández - In the 2021 season, Teoscar Hernández led his team in runs batted in with a jaw dropping 116, almost double his previous season high—Hernández’s career total RBIs is 303 with 108 home runs. To nobody’s surprise, those numbers earned him two consecutive Silver Sluggers in 2020 and 2021.
• Julio Rodríguez - J-Rod just made his debut this season, but he’s fitting right in on the Mariners’ roster. He’s a Rookie of the Year contender and already playing a big role just a month into the season. He’s already leading the league in stolen bases - not just the rookies, the whole league. The center fielder has a lot more to offer in his career as this is clearly just the beginning.
• Mookie Betts - While Boston fans are still trying to get over the trade,  Mookie Betts is fitting right in with the Dodgers. He’s been in Southern California for two seasons now, though he spent 60 games last season on the injured list. Mookie is a five time Gold Glover, four time Silver Slugger, and the 2018 MVP. Between Beantown and LA he’s tallied 178 home runs and 567 RBIs.

With new Lineups come new Early Access groups, so here’s what you’ll need to know down below.

Tier 2

A snapshot will be taken prior to each even-numbered Lineup to determine eligibility for early access.

Future snapshots will be taken on May 2nd, May 23, June 13 @ 9 AM ET

Holders at the time of each snapshot will be eligible for the Lineup immediately following the snapshot:

• Candy Sweet Futures Basketball Chaser Holders
• Legendary 2021 MLB ICONs Holders (2021 All-Star and Uncut Diamonds; 2022 Legendaries do not apply)

Tier 3

In addition to the tiers above, Tier 3 is for groups that are granted early access for a limited number of Lineups. The snapshot for Tier 3 will be taken May 23, 2022 9:00 AM ET. The Tier 3 Early Access Groups for Lineup 4 and Lineup 5 are:

Note that early access groups do not “stack”. There will be one early access window for each Lineup as specified above. Also note this is how early access is being conducted for these particular drops. It does not mean this is always how early access will be conducted for all future drops.
