Update: Candy Migration to The Root Network

Update: Candy Migration to The Root Network

New in Edition Details section: Collection and Token IDs Now Visible

As we continue to progress on the migration of your collectibles from the Palm network to The Root Network, you may have noticed something new in your collectible’s Edition Details section—specifically, a reference to The Root Network, indicating your collectible has been officially minted on-chain.

The number sequence you see looks something like this: 511076:689 and includes two key identifiers:

  • The Collection ID is the collection’s number on The Root Network (in this example, 511076). For instance, all rarities of Absolute Batman (2024-) #1 share the same Collection ID because they’re part of the same collection.
  • The Token ID is a unique number assigned to your collectible when it was minted on The Root Network (in this case, 689).

We plan to make this identifier a clickable link in the near future, allowing you to view your collectible’s on-chain record directly on Root Scan.

As promised, your edition number remains unchanged, and is now also included on-chain in the collectible’s metadata. Minting on The Root Network does not impact the edition number assigned when you first acquired the collectible.

If you don’t see The Root Network notation in your collectible’s Edition Details just yet, don’t worry—it simply means that particular collectible hasn’t been minted yet. But it will be soon.

Please note: The migration is still in progress. Until we announce that the migration is complete, it should not be considered in final state.

More updates to follow. Stay tuned!
