MLB Challenges: Community Burn and Vaulted Series Full Set

Community Burn Challenge

First, we wanted to thank everyone who participated in our TITAN Burn Challenges over the past few months. We wanted to continue building off of what TITAN created and will be launching a new and exciting Community Burn Challenge starting November 21st.

The Community Burn Challenge will have you competing against your fellow community members for tiered rewards while also working towards a common goal to earn a “special reward” if you can reach it. So let's dive in:

Point Structure

Similar to our TITAN Burn Challenge, only 2022 Leadoff Series ICONs are eligible to be burned during this Community Burn Challenge. The point values of each rarity are below:

• Core = 3 points
• Uncommon = 6 points
• Rare = 15 points
• Epic = 40 points
• TITAN = 100 points

Each time you burn 100 points worth of 2022 Leadoff Series ICONs, you will receive a “Piece of Candy” in your “Incoming Rewards” tab* in the Challenges page. You can only burn for 1 Piece of Candy at a time (If you want to burn 500 worth of points you need to complete the challenge 5 times)

Those pieces will be important…

*Note that the “Piece of Candy” will not be airdropped to your collection. It will remain in your “Incoming Rewards” tab throughout the Community Burn Challenge. Therefore, these can not be bought and sold.

Compete for Tiered Rewards

Users will be competing against each other for tiered rewards based on how many “Pieces of Candy” they earn throughout the Community Burn Challenge. Where you rank amongst your fellow users will determine which reward(s) you receive. The higher you land on the top percentile the MORE REWARDS you earn! The rewards will be distributed as follows:

• All users who create at least 1 Piece of Candy = 2022 Cycle Reward
• Top 50% of users = 2022 League Leader Reward
• Top 25% of users = 2022 Rookie Performance Reward
• Top 10% of users = 2022 Hardware Winners Reward
• Top 2.5% of users = 2022 Rookie Debut Reward

These assets will be unique and unlike our previous ICONs or Play of the Day rewards. Tiered rewards will be exclusive digital collectibles and airdropped to each wallet that participated and achieved the tier necessary. Individual rewards will include tickets to MLB games, MLB.TV Subscriptions, MLB Memorabilia and more.

The Community Burn portal will remain open until January 13, 2023. We will be providing consistent updates (except on weekends) on how many Pieces of Candy are required to vault yourself into each tier throughout the Community Burn on our Challenges Page.

Work Together to Reach the Community Goal

A special reward will be given to all participants if 10,000 Pieces of Candy are collectively earned throughout the Community Burn Challenge! There may be some surprises here as well…more to come at a later date…
