FuturePass is Here: Step-by-Step Guide to Connecting Your Candy Account.

Everything you need to know to get started with the FuturePass integration.

We’ve just launched FuturePass on Candy.io — a powerful new way to access your account and connect with everything Futureverse has to offer, while unlocking the full power of Web3 identity.

Whether you’re brand new to FuturePass or already have one set up, here’s exactly what to expect and how to link it to your Candy Account. We’re rolling this out gradually over the next few days.

⚙️ What is FuturePass?

FuturePass is your key to the open metaverse. It gives you a secure, simple way to sign in to Candy and will be your gateway to more immersive and interoperable experiences as we expand.

Think of it as your passport to the open metaverse — connecting your digital
identity and data across platforms, storing collectibles, tokens, and memberships, allowing you to manage permissions and start building status and rewards. All under one secure login. Learn more here.

📅 When Will I See It?

We’ve begun a staggered rollout of FuturePass to Candy users and will continue to roll it out gradually over the next few days. Here’s the schedule:

  • Day 1: 10% of users
  • Days 2–3: 40–45% of users
  • Day 4+: Full rollout to 100% of users

If you don't see the new FuturePass sign in option, just hang tight — it’s coming very soon.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Existing Candy Users: How to Create a FuturePass

  1. Go to Candy.io and sign in using your preferred method (email, social media, or wallet).
  • This will automatically create a FuturePass for you. Learn more here.
  1. A loading window will appear with the following messages:
  • “Creating your Pass”
  • “Initializing FuturePass”
  • “Initializing Candy”
  1. When prompted with the Link Your Candy Account window, select “Have a Candy account?”
  2. Enter the email address and password associated with your Candy account.
  3. Click “Sign In.”
  4. You’re all set!

Existing Candy and Pass Users: How to Link an existing FuturePass

  1. Go to Candy.io and sign in using your preferred method (email, social media, or wallet).
  2. Log in with your FuturePass.
  3. A loading window will appear with the following messages: 
  • “Initializing FuturePass”
  • “Initializing Candy”
  1. When prompted with the Link Your Candy Account window, select “Have a Candy account?”
  2. Enter the email address and password associated with your Candy account.
  3. Click “Sign In.”
  4. You’re all set!

Existing FuturePass Users: FuturePass and no Candy account

  1. Go to Candy.io and sign in using your preferred method (email, social media, or wallet).
  2. Log in with your FuturePass.
  3. A loading window will appear with the following messages: 
  • “Initializing FuturePass”
  • “Initializing Candy”
  1. When prompted with the Link Your Candy Account window, select “New to Candy?”
  2. Read & Agree to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. 
  3. If you’d like to subscribe to updates, select which updates you’d like to receive (MLB / DC) 
  4. Enter the email address and password associated with your Candy account.
  5. Click “Continue.”
  6. You’re all set!
🔐 Heads up: You can connect multiple FuturePass accounts to your Candy account.
