Cal has become a symbol of determination and passion in the world of baseball and sports. He is known for breaking the major league record for playing the most consecutive games with a grand total of 2,632 games in a row. Ripken is also regarded as one of the greatest shortstops in baseball history and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2007.

"Continuing this wonderful partnership with Candy Digital is a unique and fun way to connect with other baseball fans and share some of my favorite career moments. As a Baltimore area kid, I grew up as a fan of the Orioles and then was lucky enough to spend my entire career with my hometown team,” said Cal Ripken Jr. “Now thanks to the amazing technology behind digital collectibles, some of the moments I shared in person with fans all those years ago can be shared once again. From receiving the MVP Award in 1983 to that home run in 1993 that gave me the most ever homers by a shortstop, these moments can be preserved and shared with fans in a whole new way. The first collection I partnered with Candy Digital on focused on 1982, my rookie season. This newest collection allows me to share more memories from my personal collection. I am excited to relive and rediscover these moments with baseball fans everywhere!”
