It's finally here, Happy Opening Day! Whether you’re at a game in person, watching on TV or participating on our MLB marketplace, we hope your season starts off right.

There is a lot to look forward to this season. You’ll see new faces moving to new cities and new teams like Freddie Freeman and the Dodgers; old faces coming home to old teams like Albert Pujols returning to St. Louis. We’ll even see the start of a new chapter in Cleveland as the Guardians take the field for the first time in franchise history. Records will be made and broken, Miguel Cabrera will have his 3000th hit and Shohei Ohtani could have the most wins above replacement (WAR) in a regular season. 2022 City Connect jerseys will be coming and offering never before seen swag to more cities across the league.

Those that own a Stadium Series, will be airdropped a surprise Opening Day Pin NFT. Check your collection if you are a Stadium Series collector.

The pin will commemorate Opening Day 2022 and our first collectible to start a new season. You will find it airdropped into your Candy account on April 7th. If you do not have a Candy account, but own a Stadium Series NFT, you will have the chance to receive your special edition NFT on April 19th once your account is created. Play of the Day:

Also starting today is the Play of the Day! The first Play of the Day of the 2022 season will be available tomorrow, April 8 at 12 PM ET. These NFTs are available for 12 hours and will be an open edition. Pick up your first 2022 Play of the Day for $15 on the Candy MLB marketplace! Play of the Day will be available daily throughout the season.

Leadoff Series:

We are less than a week away from packs!! Our 2022 Leadoff Series, Lineup 1 packs will be available on Tuesday, April 12! Lineup 1 will contain two drops, with 60,000 packs per drop. There are 180 players in Lineup 1, five different rarities across ICONs, and five ICONs per pack. Start building up your collections and watch the dynamic stats of your players change throughout the season.
